Friends meet up at Seth Jee Restaurant

Start of December, we were busy attending the wedding events of our friend who was in Pakistan from Dubai to hold his wedding ceremony. It was a busy week and we did enjoyed our gatherings on his wedding. After his wedding events were over, we tried to arrange a post wedding reception for our friend but he was too busy with his relatives. He just had a week or so to return back to Dubai but later he extended a week more to return so we insisted him to spare some time for us but didn’t get any positive response.

We continuously tried to get his response on WhatsApp group however, last Saturday, he just appeared at my home from nowhere and asked me to get ready as we were to join our other two friends at some random restaurant as usual, not decided. He was all alone as he dropped off his wife to her home and he said its just casual meet up, nothing special. On our way, our other two friends decided to meet them at Seth G restaurant, which was recently opened.

I was feeling sleepy as I woke up from deep sleep on his call and my face is telling the remaining story, I was not mentally ready for any meet up but just because he will be leaving for Dubai, I joined them. my cell phone was out of battery so I didn’t took any pictures. We gathered at the restaurant, none of us was hungry so we ordered some starters only. We were mad at my Dubai friend for not getting her wife to this party. He is too casual to tell us that she was busy with her parents.

We had a long discussion on his future plans as he is taking his wife to Dubai with him. It is never easy for someone adjusting in the new town, leaving her parents and siblings behind and living in totally new environment. But he is so confident that he will make up her mind and will adjust wonderfully. He booked the apartment in advance and also looked out for her job to keep her busy. Well, we just wished him best of luck. The man looked changed a lot just after his marriage of three weeks and that’s the beauty of getting married, you never realize that you are changing but you do and that is for good. He was the person who keep us busy till 3-4 am but not now, at 12 am, he asked us to disburse the gathering because he has to go and pick up his wife. We were making fun of him on this act.

These pictures were taken from his cell phone Iphone 14 pro max and I was shocked to see the result, wowo its picture quality is amazing. Why wouldn’t it be, mobile phone worth of more than $1500 and its too dangerous to keep these types of cell phones in Karachi, hard cash. Even I have lots of money, I am never ready to spend my money on buying this expensive mobiles. Well, I just pray that he take his cell phone back to Dubai safely. We had a lot of fun gossiping and discussing and having little dinner together.
