Hello traveler’s! Hi to all Hiver’s. How was your Friday? Did everyone have a good day?. Today let me share with you all Our First Time well spent exploration of the 10000 Roses, a popular
tourist spot located in Day-as Barangay Road, Municipality of Cordova, Cebu Philippines.

Since I was single, I heard about this beautiful tourist spot, but because we are living in Mindanao before I just saw it on the social media or in the newspapers.

Now that we are living here in Cebu, I make time to explore this well-known 10000 Roses because I don’t wanna miss the opportunity to visit and see it with my own eyes. The beauty of these Fake Flowers Led me to appreciate beauty beyond the horizon.

Now it is summertime here in the Philippines and my daughter’s are complaining that they are bored already inside our home. So I told them that we would go out and explore. It came to my mind but it was a bit far from us . My daughter’s was very excited to go out upon hearing me about 10000 Roses. They search it on google and they become more excited seeing it on their phone. We gather in the bedroom and pray for good weather, requesting God to let us explore the place and keep us always safe.

The place would open at 2pm till 10 pm so we left home at 2:45 pm by riding our motor scooter to SM then we left our scooter in the SM basement parking lot so it would be safe. We rode a bus going to Savemore Lapu-Lapu then from there we rode a jeepney going to Cordova bus stop and again rode an Electric bike going to the 10000 Roses place. It takes almost three hours to travel for us to reach the place. My intention is for us to arrive at the place before sunset so we can take photos during day time while the flower’s do not have a light yet and after it lights up when it's dark in the night. Then we can compare the difference between daytime and night time.

At Last we arrived after almost 3 hours of travel, I thought the entrance fee was expensive but to my surprise it was only Twenty (20) pesos for regular and Ten (10) pesos for seniors and Persons with disability.

We were amazed when we arrived and found out that 10000 Roses were located on a peaceful shore in Cordova .The place was perfectly beautiful, fresh air and windy from the seabreeze. We arrived tired from the trip but it fades away while walking and taking selfies in this place.

At first only few people are here, but slowly a group of different tourists both locals and internationals arrive before the sunset. My daughter’s are enjoying the place and it was so obvious on their faces. As their Mom, it makes me happy to see them both enjoying and taking selfies on their phones.

I sat down on one of the benches there while watching my daughter;s walked and take more selfies. We waited for the sunset and while waiting, I have decided to have some snack but let me share that with you all on my next blog.

Sunset has come and the White Roses LED lights were on, the place looks different. My eldest daughter told us that it seems we are in a FAIRY LAND. It changes the place into more attractive, more beautiful and it has a magical effect.

We take more photos because we are more happy to see this and we also hold or touch the Roses. I looked at my watch and realized we needed to go back home but to my surprise my daughter’s don't want to go back home yet. I told them we must go back home because rain is coming and that we would just visit the place again when we have time so we can eat in the restaurant beside 10000 Roses. We get inside first the souvenir shop and they many nice pieces of souvenirs which are handmade by the local of Cebu then we proceed to go back home.

Sometimes all it takes is time to go out, explore and visit places that were famous in our place. Places that not only us appreciate its beauty but also tourists from different places most especially internationals or the foreigners.We are glad to be able to explore this one of a kind attraction here in Cordova , Cebu Philippines.
