El voleibol llegó a mi vida cuando apenas tenía 11 años y rápidamente se convirtió en mi gran pasión. A los 12 entré en la escuela deportiva EIDE Mártires de Barbados, y para los 14 me escogieron para entrenar con la selección cubana sub-19. En ese periodo tuve la amarga experiencia de no poder ir a dos competencias en el exterior por problemas económicos de quienes representaban al equipo y por una lesión. Pero uno de mis recuerdos más felices fue cuando en 2015 ganamos la medalla de oro en la competencia internacional NORCECA. Un partido que terminó 3-2, un momento especial y emocionante.

Let me tell you a little bit...
Volleyball came into my life when I was just 11 years old and quickly became my great passion. At the age of 12 I entered the sports school EIDE Mártires de Barbados, and by the age of 14 I was chosen to train with the Cuban U-19 national team. In that period I had the bitter experience of not being able to go to two competitions abroad because of economic problems of those who represented the team and because of an injury. But one of my happiest memories was when in 2015 we won the gold medal in the NORCECA international competition. A match that ended 3-2, a special and exciting moment.

Pero aunque el deporte me dio tantas alegrías, siempre sentí que faltaba algo. Todo cambió cuando a los 16 años deposité mi fe en Jesús. Fue como encajar la última pieza de un rompecabezas, dándole un nuevo sentido a cada aspecto de mi vida.

But even though sports gave me so much joy, I always felt that something was missing. Everything changed when at the age of 16 I placed my faith in Jesus. It was like fitting the last piece of a puzzle together, giving a new meaning to every aspect of my life.

Decisiones deportivas me hicieron tomar decisiones personales que me alejaron un poco del Voleibol, pero les cuento más de mi... me gusta escuchar buena música, tocar instrumentos, cantar, sumergirme en el mundo audiovisual... soy un apasionado de la edición de videos, imágenes y practicar la fotografía, como una forma auxiliar de generar ingresos soy barbero en mis tiempos libres algo que disfruto mucho.

Sports decisions made me make personal decisions that took me away from Volleyball, but I'll tell you more about me.... I like listening to good music, playing instruments, singing, immersing myself in the audiovisual world... I am passionate about editing videos, images and practicing photography, as an auxiliary way to generate income I am a barber in my free time something I enjoy very much.

En lo académico, soy graduado en Administración de Redes y Seguridad Informática en la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI)

Academically, I have a degree in Network Administration and Computer Security from the University of Computer Science (UCI).

Pero aquí estoy en mi nueva aventura... Hive, donde llegué gracias a mi gran amiga @lagoticaderocio quien me motivó solo con una expresión: "En mi caso si público pero en Hive, soy creadora de contenido" ...creo que mi testimonio demuestra, como unas simples palabras pueden cambiar muchas cosas, como muchos dicen..."las palabras tienen poder"
