Definitely a beautiful amount of contrast here. Is this using any kind of applied HDR effect or was the contrast just that brilliant naturally?

I had to use the applied HDR effect with sNapseed...it as too late in the day sadly to get enough sun to pick up the light on the surfaces - thank you, btw!
