Mi top 3 de lugares favoritos en Margarita/My top 3 favorite places in Margarita 💗🏅

Margarita tiene lugares realmente increíbles, y no les hablo solo de las playas, porque vamos a estar claros, Margarita es mucho más que eso, y es que además de nuestras bellísimas playas (que sí las tenemos) contamos también con una gran cantidad de lugares mágicos escondidos entre sus montañas, parques nacionales, haciendas, castillos, faros, centros comerciales y pare usted de contar, y hace unos días estuve pensando en la bendición tan grande que es vivir en este lugar, y si me preguntaran qué es lo que me gusta más de la isla, responder esa pregunta sería un poco complicado, pero después de pensarlo un rato, creo que puedo hacer un top 3 de mis lugares favoritos en la isla.

Margarita has some truly incredible places, and I'm not just talking about the beaches, because let's be clear, Margarita is much more than that. In addition to our beautiful beaches (which we do have), we also have a large number of magical places hidden among its mountains, national parks, haciendas, castles, lighthouses, shopping centers, and so on and so forth. A few days ago, I was thinking about what a blessing it is to live in this place, and if you asked me what I like most about the island, answering that question would be a bit complicated. But after thinking about it for a while, I think I can come up with a top 3 list of my favorite places on the island.

Esos lugares a los que no me canso de ir y que pudiese visitar una y mil veces y disfrutar cada vez como si fuese la primera vez, y si han visitado mi blog, saben que comenzaré hablando del casco histórico de La Asunción, para mí un lugar mágico, casi que suspendido en el tiempo ya que conserva la belleza y encanto de la época de la colonia y eso a mí me cautiva.

La Asunción es historia en cada uno de sus rincones, cada fachada te habla de la época en que fue construída, incluso algunas tienen expuestos sus materiales, y ni hablar de sus calles angostas en las que caminaron próceres de nuestra independencia, y aun algunas conservan los adoquines con las que fueron construidas hace muchísimos años.

Caminar por sus calles, es sinplemente un regalo para los ojos y el corazón. Por eso sin dudas es la número 1 en mi top 3.

Those places I never tire of visiting, places I could visit a thousand times and enjoy each time as if it were the first time. If you have visited my blog, you know that I will start by talking about the historic center of La Asunción, which for me is a magical place, almost suspended in time, as it retains the beauty and charm of the colonial era, and that captivates me.

La Asunción is history in every corner, every facade tells you about the era in which it was built, some even have their materials exposed, not to mention its narrow streets where the heroes of our independence walked, and some even still have the cobblestones with which they were built many years ago.

Walking through its streets is simply a treat for the eyes and the heart. That's why it's undoubtedly number one in my top three.

Otro de los lugares que amo en la isla es el Parque Nacional "Cerro el Copey", o la sierra como le decimos los margariteños, y adivinen dónde está ubicado? Pues... en La Asunción! Se encuentra en uno de los puntos más altos de la isla y entre subidas y curvas te vas encontrando no solo con un paisaje diferente, sino con un clima completamente distinto al del resto de la isla.

Un lugar hermoso lleno de verde, de árboles inmensos, donde puedes respirar aire puro y disfrutar de vistas majestuosas, pero sobre todo un lugar lleno paz. Eso y mucho más te encuentras tanto en el parque como tal como en sus alrededores.

Es sin dudas un espacio para conectar con la naturaleza y disfrutar a plenitud de ella olvidando por completo el estrés del día a día, y está acondicionado para que puedas pasar un día genial con familiares y amigos, de hecho en este parque tengo muchísimos recuerdos hermosos con la gente que amo.

Another place I love on the island is Cerro el Copey National Park, or la sierra as we Margariteños call it, and guess where it's located? Well... in La Asunción! It is located at one of the highest points on the island, and as you climb and wind your way up, you encounter not only a different landscape but also a climate that is completely different from the rest of the island.

It is a beautiful place full of greenery and huge trees, where you can breathe fresh air and enjoy majestic views, but above all, it is a place full of peace. You will find all this and much more both in the park itself and in its surroundings.

It is undoubtedly a place to connect with nature and enjoy it to the fullest, completely forgetting the stress of everyday life, and it is equipped so that you can spend a great day with family and friends. In fact, I have many beautiful memories with the people I love in this park.

Y por supuesto no podía dejar fuera de este top 3 al Centro Comercial "La Vela", y es que ustedes ya saben que es de mis lugares favoritos en la isla, y la verdad yo amo con locura este centro comercial, y es que el solo pensar que voy a ir de visita me pone de buen humor.

Comencemos diciendo que es bellísimo, su arquitectura y diseño es precioso, todo tan bien pensado tan de buen gusto, y es que hasta el fondo musical es totalmente mi estilo, una cantidad de tiendas que te ofrecen de todo un poco, y hace unos años han diversificado mucho lo que son los precios, así que hay para todos los presupuestos, y ni hablar de las opciones para comer o merendar algo rico, simplemente increíble y en el mejor ambiente, así que como ven era imposible no tenerlo en mi top 3.

And of course, I couldn't leave La Vela Shopping Center out of this top 3 list. As you already know, it's one of my favorite places on the island, and I absolutely love this shopping center. Just thinking about going there puts me in a good mood.

Let's start by saying that it's beautiful. Its architecture and design are gorgeous, everything is so well thought out and tasteful, even the background music is totally my style. There are lots of stores offering a little bit of everything, and a few years ago they diversified their prices a lot, so there's something for every budget. Not to mention the options for eating or snacking on something delicious. It's simply incredible and has the best atmosphere, so as you can see, it was impossible not to include it in my top 3.

Sí, sí, ya sé que seguramente muchos estaban esperando playas y más playas, pero ustedes que me conocen, saben que aunque son hermosas y disfruto mucho visitarlas, ir a la playa no es de mis cosas favoritas.

Así que sí mi gente, soy una oriental a la que no le gusta ir a la playa, pero así son las cosas 🤣

Yes, yes, I know that many of you were probably expecting beaches and more beaches, but those of you who know me know that although they are beautiful and I really enjoy visiting them, going to the beach is not one of my favorite things to do.

So yes, my friends, I am an Eastern woman who does not like going to the beach, but that's just how it is.
