Exposición fotográfica en el "Omar Carreño" [Esp/Eng]

Hace unos días después de dejar a Miranda en sus clases de violín en la orquesta, me fui como siempre a esperar en el Centro de Artes Omar Carreño, y me encontré con la sorpresa de que ya tenían una nueva exposición instalada en la sala principal, así que no dudé en bajar y ver de qué se trataba.

Esta sala tiene una estructura bien particular, se encuentra un piso hacia abajo, y por su diseño descubierto, apenas entras al teatro basta con acercarte al muro de concreto que sirve de barandal para ver si han renovado la exposición, y ese día al darme cuenta que era así bajé por sus escaleras en forma de caracol y me acerqué hasta el muro que tenía la información de la misma.

Era una exposición fotográfica llamada "Señorita" de la artista Yusmejías. Las fotografías eran impresiones de buen tamaño donde podías apreciar con detalle cada una de ellas. A mí me encanta la forma de esta sala, pero sobre todo, me gusta ver cómo le dan protagonismo a cada obra, porque las colocan en la pared sobre una base enorme, y en la parte superior una lámpara que te permite apreciarla bastante bien.

Las fotos de esta exposición me gustaron muchísimo, y hasta firmé el libro de visitas, y demás está decir, que este es mi lugar favorito para esperar a Miranda, no solo por el aire acondicionado que me rescata del calor horrible que hace afuera, sino por el hecho de estar rodeada de piezas de arte en un lugar lleno de paz y silencio.

A few days ago after leaving Miranda in her violin lessons at the orchestra, I went as usual to wait at the Centro de Artes Omar Carreño, and I was surprised to find that they already had a new exhibition installed in the main hall, so I did not hesitate to go down and see what it was all about.

This room has a very particular structure, it is located one floor down, and because of its open design, as soon as you enter the theater you just have to approach the concrete wall that serves as a handrail to see if they have renewed the exhibition, and that day when I realized that it was so I went down the spiral stairs and approached the wall that had the information of the exhibition.

It was a photographic exhibition called "Señorita" by the artist Yusmejías. The photographs were good size prints where you could appreciate in detail each one of them. I love the shape of this room, but above all, I like to see how they give prominence to each work, because they place them on the wall on a huge base, and at the top a lamp that allows you to appreciate it quite well.

I really liked the photos of this exhibition, and I even signed the guest book, and needless to say, this is my favorite place to wait for Miranda, not only because of the air conditioning that rescues me from the horrible heat outside, but also for the fact of being surrounded by pieces of art in a place full of peace and silence.
