The answer is and always will be WINTER

WINTER IS COMING, YES IT IS.

You, me, we all deserve a taste of winter right now, you can just see it coming, it's so close; dark clouds taking over the skies, a decent amount of rain and a cool, calm breeze embracing you from every corner.

After all the rain and mud has served its "purpose" and showed us its presence, winter will be bestowed upon us like the blessing we've been waiting for all year.

It's not that cold here anyways, it's all quite tolerable at least; a perfect balance of hot and cold, and for the ones who live around these parts of the world, we know how hot it can get for the majority of the year. It literally feels like nine months of summer and its scorching heat, a month of drizzle, and a fair two months of cooling down in winter.

I don't know how people can fall in love with summer, at least in my city and country; the hot and humid weather, a highly populated and polluted city, it's a concoction of death when all of it is combined together. The rainy monsoons and a fair bit of Autumn is still quite acceptable, but the chances are that you'll still see that sunny and bright b**tard ball of hell show up every now and then, with a creepy little grin on its face, ready to burn us down.

Winter is the only season that can hold its own against this hellish heat; yes, you'll see a glimpse of the sun every now and then, but the heat then is still merciful.

A lot of people say that winter is a "lazy season" but for some reason, I'm at my best during winter, highly efficient and energetic, ready to rumble 24/7.

And you really can't forget about the winter attire, our beloved sweater weather; you just suddenly have double the options to choose from, which makes getting ready a bit easier, for me it does haha.

For now, I just hope that I'm well prepared for this winter. 🙏

winter is a "lazy season"

This actually got me laughing for a second, why would they think that? We don't have winter seasons here but a season that is like winter for us here isn't so lazy as they say (I actually love it more than the heat season).

No doubt, cold and rain can be tolerated compared to the heat and hot sun... I find it hard to cope.

So I'm guessing we both like same season (another secret why I like this season is because my skin loves it too 😅)

Im more of a rain guy myself. The inner hopeless romantic tries to get out at full force when it rains. I even write cringy poems at times you know:PP as me and this god forsaken season goes a long way. Quite a long way.

Man, I love a bit of rain, who doesn't? After a bit of chilly winter, I surely do prefer some heavy rain, it's a close second on my list.

(Edited)

It used to go hand in hand with winter, maybe even a step ahead; back when I used it to cleanse myself every now and then, trying to erase memories of the past as I walked back home through an empty street. When the memories started to fade, when the love became weaker, I slowly became numb. So, soon enough the cleansing ritual wasn't a thing anymore, and the little bits and parts, the residue that was left behind, held no value.
