It's Just Business

"You don’t build a business, you build people, then people build the business."Zig Ziglar

In just the last 30 days I've spoken to over 400 people, and it was all strictly business.

It wasn't like any other conversation you have on social media; not the usual Hi, hello, how are you doing? Hundreds of potential customers were intrigued to know about our products and services, and behind the page, it was mostly me doing the talking.

One thing is for sure, the Bangladeshi crowd isn't easy to please, but as always, if you know how to run your mouth, you can succeed and win hearts in any country or line of work. I believe I'm smooth-tongued; when it's needed at least, because I also know when to shut up and listen.

So, even if we don't confirm an order on the first try, so far we still have managed to turn 95% of the interested customers into "supporters". They enjoy the conversations with us and wish us luck in our future endeavors.

After a huge $10 USD Facebook/Instagram/Meta boost, within the first few days, the messages just kept coming, starting from 10 AM and going on till 3 AM, it was just nonstop. People were asking for prices, materials, designs, time of delivery, and so on.

After a month now, I can't deny it, people really are interested, that's for sure. But, even though we're offering the most affordable prices, half of these customers beg to differ.

Ah, you just can't please this bunch, can you?

After the launch of our business page, we were inactive for quite a while, we were busy handling orders offline while working on a blueprint for our social media marketing and promotions.

However, just a month ago we started to push our products and posts heavily, and so far, the feedback is great. For every 4 to 5 interested customers, we are confirming at least one sale.

Our price range starts around $2 USD, and has recently reached a nice figure of $80 USD for one single order.

We don't want to leave any stones unturned, that is why we offer the cheap stuff and the very expensive pieces too. You can say that we are working on art pieces, so the options here are quite limitless. It all depends on what the customer wants, the kind of tools we have in our weaponry, and an adept set of hands that can craft and give the product a smooth finish.

For now, the only thing/person that's missing is a nimble-fingered painter. Many people prefer a faultless and accurate colored finish on their models, and none of us 3 behind the scenes are skilled enough for this task. My hands are already fairly "shaky" and I never was into art.

And we only prefer the best; again, we're nowhere near perfect, but this team can get the job done. We created this team of three because we three are the best in our fields; well, at least when compared to our little circle of friends and acquaintances.

This team is working wonders, even if I do say so myself; yes, the timing is sometimes off, but we're just starting off though. Things will slowly fall into pace. Yet, the synergy is on point though. I say as long as there's improvement and progress, we are then on the right track.

The products and advertisements are bringing these customers to us, but it's the service and behavior that will keep them coming back for more. That has always been the case, and that's what I look for at least. If the service is good, I'm more than willing to pay a bit more.

Now, it's just about maintaining the pace and our top-notch service...

Excellent bro! I'm so glad to see your business thriving!

Have you ever why is that?

My theory is, most customers from Bangladesh - they themselves don't actually know what they want. 😂 See if you can relate to this next time you're talking to customers :D

Thank you, bhai. Progress is good, way better than what we had expected, but there's still a long way to go.

It's true, that indecision is common in all these messages. The customers will knock on our door not knowing what they want, and then most of them will disappear around halfway into the conversation, when talking about the product, price, etc.

Yet, we don't mind, whether they buy something or not, our job is to provide the best service out there.
