Divine Radiance: Celebrating the Kartik Season.

(Edited)

Kartik is indeed a very special season for Lord Krishna, and it holds a significant place in Hindu mythology. Recently, my family and I have been regularly visiting the Iskcon Temple in Punjabi Bagh to immerse ourselves in the festivities of this auspicious season.

The streets adorned with colorful lights create a mesmerizing ambiance, especially during the night. The sight of the temple bathed in blue lights is truly enchanting. The ritual of washing hands and receiving diyas before entering the hall symbolizes the purification of the soul and the offering of one's light to Lord Krishna.

The experience inside the hall, with the presence of dimly bulbs and the warm glow of countless diyas, adds to the spiritual aura. People come together to offer flowers and sweets to the divine deities, Lord Krishna and Radha, as a token of their devotion and love.

The collective chanting of "Hare Krishna" by devotees is not only melodious but also deeply soothing to the soul. It unites everyone in a spiritual connection and creates an atmosphere of serenity. Finally, placing the lit diyas outside the hall is a symbolic act of sharing one's spiritual light with others, as they are managed by the temple staff. It is a beautiful way of spreading the divine light and love.

I urge everyone to take out some time to connect with the divine, find inner peace, and create lasting memories with your family. Embracing the beauty of this special season and participating in these rituals is a wonderful way to deepen our spiritual connection with Lord Krishna.
