A Cheerful Day at the cowshed with my family

Yesterday, my family and I embarked on a unique adventure to a nearby cowshed, located in Madipur village, New Delhi. It was a perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse ourselves in the serene countryside. Our main purpose was to feed fodder grass to cows, an activity we were all excited about.

As we arrived at the cowshed, the farmer boy greeted us warmly, he explained the importance of feeding cows and how it helps maintain their health and milk production. Eager to get started, we were each handed a basket filled with fresh maize fodder grass. The cows, sensing our presence, approached us with curiosity. My younger brother, always the animal lover, couldn’t contain his excitement and rushed to feed the cows.

The cows, seemingly unaware of their massive size, would nudge us playfully, hoping for more grass. Their wet, ticklish tongues would wrap around our hands, making us squeal with laughter. We couldn’t help but marvel at how these seemingly intimidating animals could be so gentle and friendly. It was fascinating to discover the intricate relationship between humans and these magnificent creatures.

As the evening sun started to dip, we bid farewell to the cows and the farmer boy. Our hands were covered in a mix of grass and cow slobber, but we wore proud smiles on our faces. Our trip to the cowshed was an unforgettable experience. Feeding maize fodder to cows allowed us to connect with the beauty of nature. I am grateful for the memories we created and looking forward to more adventures in future.
