Exploring one of the most iconic mosque buildings in Pidie Jaya district
Good night to all my beloved hive friends everyone ♥️
Today I started the day quite well, starting at seven in the morning I was ready to travel to Pidie Jaya district which is located next to or neighboring Bireuen district, I did this trip with my boyfriend and this was just a short vacation for us. In the middle of the trip we also got something that we didn't expect at all, namely the rain falling very heavily, so we decided to find a suitable place to take shelter while resting.
At that time we had arrived in Pidie Regency, precisely in Ulee Gle village, and luckily on the side of the road we managed to find a place that looked very magnificent, and we decided to stop there, and from here we will start to enter our main topic about the beauty of architecture to the design offered by this mosque.
Beside the mosque building we will find a parking area for motorbikes and cars, and that's where we parked our motorbikes, at that time it was raining very heavily, until about 30 minutes later the rain started to subside and I immediately got up from sitting to start my exploration of this mosque building.
First of all we can see the mosque building from the left side first
I am interested in the shape of this mosque which looks quite high, even its height can be seen from the highway, besides that this building also has a very bright color, namely white, and this color is also identical to purity and cleanliness, and yes, the color and shape can attract me.
View of the mosque from the front
From a distance I could only see the color and shape, but as I approached the building I became even more amazed, because all the walls were decorated with ornaments that were most likely geometric in pattern, but the ornaments also had the same white color as the walls of the building, so the beauty of the ornaments only became clearly visible when I approached the building.
And this is the view of the mosque from the right side
The size of this mosque is quite large and this can also be marked by the number of domes on top of it, and this mosque has three domes, each dome has the same size except for the size of the dome in the middle which is larger.
But what if we approach this mosque building from the side?
From this angle we can see the motifs on the walls of this building clearly and it also looks very impressive, the paint color also looks very bright under the cloudy weather. After exploring the outside area of this building, I was immediately curious about the condition of the inside, and there was no other choice but to immediately go inside.
I entered through the door on the right side, oh yeah I almost forgot to add information about the door to enter the mosque, so this mosque building has 3 main doors, one from the right side, the front side, and on the left side. Once inside this building I was even more amazed by what I saw, from the inside the architecture of the building is amazing to the design that is no less complicated than some other iconic mosques that I have explored, and we will see the inside first or the floor.
Let's discuss the color first, before entering the mosque building I thought the paint color inside would be different from the paint color outside, it turns out that thought was very wrong because the inside of the mosque building is also white, but that is not a big problem because white is a common color that can be adjusted in almost all areas.
Inside this mosque building we can also find three ceilings which have also been adjusted to the number of domes, and the ceiling in the middle is the largest, but let's start from the ceiling on the right side first.
On the ceiling there are several motifs that look very beautiful, but I don't know the name of the motif, besides that we can also see several carvings on the sides of the ceiling, but in my opinion this looks less attractive because the color is also identical to white, it would be better if this part of the ceiling was given a different color to show a different atmosphere when we see it.
And when I stepped towards the ceiling in the middle, I was immediately surprised because it turned out that this mosque building had two floors, and I immediately looked for the location of the stairs.
The ceiling in the middle is the largest and also follows the size of the dome, but let's look at the architectural beauty of the second floor seen from below.
at that time I felt a little curious about the condition of the second floor, but because my condition at that time was a bit wet so I decided not to go up. And now let's see the beauty of the ceiling in the middle.
This is a ceiling that has a very large size, and on the walls of this ceiling there are also several carvings and dense motifs so that it shows a calm atmosphere when we see it. In addition to carvings and motifs, we can also see on the ceiling walls there are also several windows and after I counted the windows there were eight, it was amazing, because this ceiling is not only about its large size but its design also looks very amazing.
and there is still one more area that I haven't approached, namely the front area of the mosque.
at that time I really wanted to approach him, but there were already some people there who were praying, so I decided not to approach him. after that I immediately went out of the mosque building and coincidentally the rain had really stopped, and this was an opportunity for us to immediately continue the journey to our next destination.
Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.
