Discovery of the skipper butterfly // Photography behind the macro lens camera,Skipper butterflies and spiny caterpillars

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post I will share some pictures of my latest discoveries, a spiny caterpillar and a charming Skipper butterfly. Today, precisely in the morning I returned to the oil palm plantation to look for some interesting objects there, morning is the best time to look for insects because that is when they start their activities. Flying insects have welcomed me there, and I started everything with enthusiasm and confidence.

"----------Spiny caterpillar----------"

My first discovery was a spiny caterpillar, the name alone made me feel a little scared, we usually hear the name of hairy caterpillars and they are very dangerous for humans, especially this is a spiny caterpillar.

As the name suggests, this caterpillar does have fine thorns all over its body that are black in color, at first glance this caterpillar looks very beautiful because it has four colors on its body namely black, white, orange, and blue. But look closely at the shape of this caterpillar's thorns, one thorn has several branches and it looks very scary, I can't imagine how painful and itchy it would be if this caterpillar's thorns accidentally touched our skin, I can only say that be careful with this caterpillar.

Now I will invite all my friends to see the beauty of a skipper butterfly that I managed to find, we will start from the front side first.

At first glance, it looks very similar to a moth, but after I searched for information about this insect on Google, I was surprised that it turned out to be a skipper butterfly, or you can see it yourself here. There are also various skipper butterflies, some are gold, brown, black and red, but this diversity depends on where they live. In my area, I often find skipper butterflies that are brown and gold, coincidentally today I managed to find a brown one.

I tried to photograph this butterfly using a macro lens, it was a little more difficult than I imagined, this butterfly is relatively smaller in size and can fly very fast and I often lose track of it.

As we all know, hard work pays off, but the results we achieve depend on how much effort we put in. I managed to find this skipper butterfly easily, but I had a hard time photographing it, especially when I tried to photograph it with a macro lens. But look at the results of my efforts, I managed to photograph this butterfly from various angles.

Luckily, the butterfly I found was not too wild, even though it flew several times when I tried to photograph it. Right when the butterfly landed on a red paper flower, I managed to photograph this butterfly perfectly using a macro lens, I even managed to photograph this butterfly from a fairly close distance.

I love Skipper butterflies; they always seem to be staring directly at the camera when you take their picture! In fact, I think they have a more expressive gaze than other butterfly families!... Excellent photos, @riyat friend, beautiful species!

Hi my friend. I agree that this caterpillar is very dangerous for humans because this caterpillar has many fine spines on its body.
Many people will experience swelling and itching if they accidentally come into contact with our skin
Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend

Such beauty and delicacy in these images you captured of the caterpillar... As for the butterfly, I wasn't familiar with this species, and from what you've shared and shown in the excellent photos, I see it's a jewel of nature.
Thank you for these gifts!
Bright hugs!
