In this post I will share an experience and moment of my success in finding a unique insect and a mushroom in the forest. A few days ago it rained very heavily in my area, it made me remember one thing that mushrooms will soon grow. In the morning, I and some of my friends decided to go into the forest to look for mushrooms called Pak (edible mushrooms), when the rainy season arrives looking for these mushrooms has become a common habit that is often done by many people in my area.

However, finding Pak mushrooms is not an easy thing, because these mushrooms only grow in a few places, and these mushrooms grow directly on the ground. At that time we were not successful in finding them, but under a pile of oil palm fronds I managed to find a very unique mushroom, namely the curly white mushroom.

This mushroom usually grows on dead trees such as on the fronds of oil palm trees. When I was young, this mushroom will be pure white but when it is old, this mushroom will change color to yellowish white. The texture is also soft when it is young, and will become harder when it is old, but this is not a mushroom that has a long life, if I am not mistaken,this mushroom can only live for a few days .
If we want to be able to easily find this mushroom, we have to look for it when the rainy season arrives, because in the dry season we will never find it.

On one of the wild plants, I also managed to find a very interesting insect.

Until now I don't know the name of this insect, but in my area many people call this Bapak Pucung Kapas,this is because this insect is often found on cotton trees, and we can easily find it there.
The uniqueness of this insect lies in its very striking colors, namely red, black and white, and the good news is that this insect is completely harmless to humans, we can even hold and play with it.
