DISCOVERY IN OIL PALM PLANTATION // Photography behind the macro lens camera-predatory wasps and orange leafhoppers.
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post I will share my experience and success in capturing the beauty of two flying insects, namely a predatory wasp and an orange leafhopper, it is very difficult to find these two insects so this is not an easy thing to do, even if we have succeeded in finding them we also have to try to photograph them again.
Today I went back into the oil palm plantation which is not too far from my house, there I was immediately greeted by many interesting creatures that perhaps can only be seen from a close distance, the first insect that I managed to find in the oil palm plantation was an orange planthopper.

This planthopper is very easy to find during the rainy season but is very rarely seen during the dry season, not that it doesn't exist but it is difficult to find it.

It can be said that finding this orange leafhopper is not too difficult but photographing it is very difficult, this leafhopper is very fast, agile and very sensitive to the slightest movement, photographing this leafhopper using a macro lens is very emotionally draining, patience is the most important thing to be able to capture its beauty.

It took me approximately 30 minutes to photograph this insect, which is a long time to photograph just one insect, but my efforts yielded very satisfying results. I managed to photograph this orange leafhopper from various different angles and the results also looked very detailed.
Right on the edge of the river, I also managed to find another flying insect which was no less interesting and this was a predatory wasp.

The uniqueness is immediately visible from the two antennae owned by this wasp, its color is also very unique, namely orange and there is black on its stomach. Finding this wasp is a stroke of luck for me, but this is not an insect that can be played with, this wasp is very dangerous because its sting can cause extreme pain and swelling, so this is one of the most valuable insects.

When this wasp was perched on a flower, I managed to take a good picture of it,this wasp did not fly away and gave me the opportunity to capture its beauty,i really like its color, but it's a shame I didn't have enough light when I took the picture at that time.

However, this was an opportunity that I could not waste, I tried to muster up the courage to photograph this wasp from a very close distance, and I was able to do it, and we can see the results together in the two photos above.
