Willows are such a useful plant! They're weeds here in Australia though as they hog the precious waterways... so they're usually eradicated.

I heard they can be treated for fevers. Right enough we do get them along some of the rivers. But it is that Japanese Giant Hogweed that kills our banks and ecosystems. I did join in a squad a couple of years ago helping to eradicate them, but it is a losing battle. So many invasive species fucking the systems everywhere. A shame they are all eradicated though over there.
Oh hogweed is horrible! And yet another reason why GB is more dangerous than Australia!
