Oh I'm glad I caught this post. I'm sorry to hear about your toe. That sounds like a really nasty one! And that's frome me, who is always getting injured. In the last year alone, I've stood on a screw in the garden and it them got infected (saved by plantain poultice), got six stitches in my arm surfing, and gave myself a nasty black eye. That's only in the last twelve months though. Jamie tells me to stop having adventures.

It's a shame about not swimming in the heat. At least a tropical heat you can get used to. I'm not a fan of 35 degrees dry heat in Morocco!

Thailand is a lovely place to be stuck. As I was reading o thought the injury sounded like a message but of course you knew that.

Glad you saw this post! Thank you, to me it was a bit shocking, as I wrote. I didn't understand that I needed to see a doctor, haha. But when the bleeding hadn't stopped after 4 hours I decided it was probably for the better. It was hard to see though, since the cut was 'hidden' under the nail. They were surprised at the clinic that a water bottle could cause such a deep cut. It was a bottle I got from the yoga center, it has a rather sharp edge at the bottom. But of course, I was really unlucky to have it hit like that.

I'm vaguely aware of your injuries from the past year, I have read, at least a bit, about them here on Hive. Mine wasn't even from an adventure, it happened right after a yoga class!

Yes I miss swimming and that's why I'll find another island for the last week in Thailand or so. It's not like this everywhere.

I'm not sure I would call it that I'm stuck, haha. But if I were, you're sure right 🙂

I hope you're having a great time in Morocco! I hope to catch up here on Hive more soon.

xx
