RE: Can "AI" really improve a quality photographic image?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I think we are AI'ing ourselves to death.

The image is a close-up portrait of a man's face. The man has long, curly hair that is dark and frizzy. His face is in the center of the image, with his eyes looking directly at the camera. His eyebrows are slightly furrowed and his nose is slightly upturned. His mouth is slightly open, as if he is about to say something. The background is completely black, making the man's facial features stand out. The lighting is soft and dramatic, highlighting his features.

We aren't seen by 'them' and we are recreated otherwise.

I often feel so resistant - your skills as a photographer and your post production skills don't NEED AI. Yet it's there, and we can't help use it.

I don't think I will be using it in my workflow. It was an experiment. :) These "men" don't exist. They aren't even close. It also entirely missed my beard, which just happens to be right on my face. :D
