CCC'S street art, contest #262:

Passing by an old building in my school, I came across this mural painted on its wall. Though weathered and fading with time, it still carries a strong message. The mural depicts the faces of prominent Black figures, painted alongside symbolic images of strength and unity.

The shape of their mouths looks like a shout of victory, echoing resilience and triumph. At the top left corner, you can see the colors arranged in a way that resembles the American flag, adding to the mural’s depth and meaning. Despite the peeling paint and cracks on the wall, the artwork speaks of resilience, history, and inspiration. It serves as a reminder that even in forgotten corners, powerful stories of courage, leadership, and freedom continue to live on, urging us to reflect on the past while shaping our future.
