Muchas han sido las publicaciones y post sobre la gran Casa Azul como es conocida o simplemente el IPVCE Federico Engels, esta vez vengo a hablarles también de este centro que muchos catalogan como mágico, aunque desgraciadamente no estudie en este centro, pero mi etapa de estudiante la curse en los pasillos que siguen a continuación de esta edificación en IPU o preuniversitario que aunque estaba muy cerca en nada se parecen, porque la magia de la vocacional entre tantas cosas son sus maestros y el afán de lograr lo mejor de cada estudiante.

Tuve la dicha como estudiante pasar por los pasillos de la vocacional y ver la solemnidad que habita allí, la tranquilidad con que los muchachos se quedaban tan tranquilos en las aulas leyendo o estudiando, cosa que en el pre no pasaba, pues por aquel entonces fugarse en pleno horario docente era una gran aventura. También tuve la dicha de colarme en las legendarias galas niegth de noche y que solo se hablaba en inglés, era extremadamente algo sorprendente ver a aquellos adolescentes como yo cantando y haciendo obras de teatro netamente en inglés, cosa que para nosotros era una utopía lograr por el nivel tan pobre que teníamos de dicha lengua. Sin dudas quedaron allí muchas metas por cumplir.

I also had the joy of sneaking into the legendary niegth galas at night and that was only spoken in English, it was extremely surprising to see those teenagers like me singing and doing plays purely in English, something that for us was a utopia to achieve because of the poor level we had of that language. Undoubtedly there were many goals to achieve.

Por eso hoy vengo a hablarle de los conciertos que he podido dar en esta institución, gracias a dios y mucho esfuerzo, la música, mi música me ha llevado a cada escenario que se esconde en aquellas paredes azules, como olvidar aquel primer concierto en el anfiteatro que para mí es el mejor escenario de mi provincia Pinar del Río, es lo más parecido a aquellos coliseos romanos dónde los gladiadores peleaban a morir, los gritos, los coros de aquel público quedan en la memoria para siempre. Cómo olvidar aquellos conciertos en lobby de la escuela de los muchachos se sientan delante de ti y te admiran y disfrutan cada canción como ellos solo saben.

That is why today I come to talk about the concerts I have been able to give in this institution, thanks to God and a lot of effort, music, my music has taken me to every stage that is hidden in those blue walls, how to forget that first concert in the amphitheater which for me is the best stage of my province Pinar del Rio, is the closest thing to those Roman coliseums where the gladiators fought to death, the screams, the chorus of that audience remain in memory forever. How to forget those concerts in the school lobby where the kids sit in front of you and admire you and enjoy each song as they only know how.

Pero hoy vengo a hablarles de nuestro último concierto allí el pasado jueves 7 de septiembre, en aquel el lugar que todos conocen como ocho vías, no cabían!!!, estaban unos encima de otros, las luces de los móviles, los aplausos, evocaciones, la energía que se vivió durante y después del concierto simplemente único, hicimos canciones de nuestra autoría, de otros autores ya conocidos, simplemente mágico, un público muy agradecido y lleno de alegría. Sin lugar a dudas un lugar a donde siempre la música del dúo Vida volverá.

But today I come to tell you about our last concert there last Thursday, September 7, in that place that everyone knows as eight ways, they did not fit!!!, they were on top of each other, the lights of the cell phones, the applause, evocations, the energy that was lived during and after the concert simply unique, we did songs of our authorship, of other authors already known, simply magical, a very grateful audience and full of joy. Undoubtedly a place where the music of the duo Vida will always return.

Las fotos aquí tomadas reflejan todo lo vivido, todo lo lindo en los ojos de cada estudiante y profesor de aquel centro que sin dudas se quedaron con ganas de otro encuentro, quién sabe y pronto estaremos allí, pero ya tenemos la certeza de que vamos de la mano de esta institución y de las generaciones que allí se han graduado en el calor de la música del dúo Vida, mi arte, todo eso queda en las paredes azules, en los pasillos de esta gran escuela que es la gran casa Azul 💙.
