After waiting for quite a long time, the rain finally came in the afternoon. The sky had been overcast for hours, with dark clouds looming overhead, threatening to descend at any moment. The air was full of humidity, and the heat of the day was intense. The sound of distant thunder could be heard, indicating a storm was coming.

The rain initially was just a light drizzle, but over time it turned into heavy rain. The sound of raindrops hitting the roof echoes throughout the environment, creating a soothing melody that brings a sense of peace and tranquility. The streets soon turned into rivers, the water flowing through the gutters, carrying dust and dirt on the roads.

The scent of wet earth filled the air, a refreshing and invigorating aroma that seemed to cleanse the soul. The world seemed to come alive with rain, birds chirped in joy and insects scurried for cover. The colors of the plants look even more intense, bright and lush against the gray sky.
