Monomad | Bush crickets that look so attractive and beautiful on this sunny day - 13 photos
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge curated by @monochromes today.
Hi everyone, how are you, I hope you are all having a nice day and in good condition. Today I went back to walking around the plantation and in front of the plantation there were some wild taro trees growing there, and accidentally I saw a species of bush cricket or better known by another name, namely Tettigoniidae, and at that time I saw this species of bush cricket crawling on one of the wild taro leaves.
And without waiting long I immediately approached it very carefully so that this species of bush cricket would not fly in another direction. And at that time I immediately took some close-up shots and managed to take some angles of the picture that looked very beautiful and graceful, and you can see below some portraits of this species of bush cricket.
This species of bush cricket has a rather large body shape with a color that looks very attractive compared to other insect species, and from the eyes it also looks very beautiful because it has its own characteristics that look so eye-catching, and has two ribbons that are longer than its body with its back legs also looking long.
Insects in the family Tettigoniidae are commonly called katydids (especially in North America) or bush crickets.....Wikipedia
