When Running Is Life… for the #monomad challenge
Every now and then I post photos here that I take at different cycling races: La Guayaba, Mar Azul, Bauta, Crono, and so on. But none of them feels quite the same.
I’ve raced myself, not much, but enough to understand that you can’t truly explain what it means to get on a bike and give not only the best of yourself, but also what you didn’t even know you had.
I’m a photographer, and I’m probably much better at that than I am at cycling.
That’s why today I want to share some shots from those races. I want them to become a memory for those riders as well; to try, through patience, passion, and many hours behind the camera, to capture something of what it feels like to be there and then share it with all of you.
For this series, I used my Canon 5D Mark III along with different lenses: Canon 70-300, Carl Zeiss, Helios… a little bit of everything.
I truly enjoy what I do, and I hope that through my photographs you can see a little more of the world from my perspective.
Greetings to everyone. I look forward to reading your comments.
