Guayaba’s race 2/21/26 for the #monomad challenge

Hello community of black and white photography lovers!

Today I’m sharing photos from last Saturday… sorry for the delay in posting them. The power outages make it hard for me to edit my camera files sometimes.

This competition (a regular one) takes place every Saturday around a reservoir called La Guayaba, which is why the race has that name. I always post from this event, but even though they are all cycling races, none of them are ever the same.

Honestly, I wasn’t planning to go that day. I’m still recovering from chikungunya and it hurts to walk around carrying the weight of cameras and lenses. Even though I usually use the same ones for sports, you never know what might come up, so I tend to bring them all and I already have a good collection.

For these photos I used the Canon 70-300mm IS USM f/4-5.6 and the manual Praktica 135mm f/2.8.
As always, since November 2024, my camera is the Canon 5D Mark III.

I hope you enjoy my photography, and I look forward to your comments; I’ll gladly reply.

Greetings.
