Action in XCO: Cyclocross for the #monomad challenge
Hello community of black and white photography lovers. Today I bring you a story, accompanied as always by some images I took.
Last Sunday there was a mountain biking event called Cyclocross XCO. A friend of mine was going to compete and asked me to come take some photos for him… even though I protested and said I wouldn't go just to leave him hanging. The truth is I always planned to go, but as a surprise… and I went… only to arrive and find out that he was the one who didn't show up because he had a breakdown early that same day… lucky me! But oh well, I was already there… so let's do something: I used my Canon 5D Mark III, with my Canon 24-105 lens, Canon 70-300, a manual Praktica 135mm f/2.8, and my most recent acquisition: the Carl Zeiss Flektogon 20mm f/2.8. And well, I entertained myself with that gear, and with it I made the images I'm showing today.
Oh, important detail: I had forgotten to empty my camera's memory cards… so I felt like a sniper… I only had 80 shots… they had to count… not waste a single one. And I got so into character that I didn't take more than 20 images. Hahaha. Anyway, I hope you enjoy them. Cheers.

Congratulations. Today's #monomad third place is yours.
