Liv

One of the recent shoots was with Liv, over at a mates studio in Sheffield.

Teaming up with Bionda again, it was a shortish shoot - only a couple of hours, but sometimes thats enough for what you want to get..

I've already posted some other shots from this set in black and white, but the main focus was the makeup skills of bionda..

The entire set was shot on a white backdrop with a bit of help from the new features in lightroom, you'll not see many white backdrops on the final images...

Now, I've been a bit meh on ideas recently, so I take no shame in saying I've been piggybacking on the ideas of others and just taking the shots they want.. It get's me out of the house and my hand in the game while the head plays catch up with being creative..

I think that most creative people have these moments and maybe this is a bit controversial, but also have struggles with mental health issues along the way?

Anyway, back on the topic..

I'm really happy with how these came out, shooting with canon r6, 300w strobe, beauty dish sometimes gridded sometimes not, mix of 85mm 1.8 and 70-200 2.8

as always, I'd love to hear your thoughts and constructive criticism..

I've got my daughter and dog this weekend, which is good, and the young one is coming along to another model shoot with me tomorrow, and will be taking her first model photos.. I will make a photographer out of her if it kills me lol..

Lightroom did an awesome job of background replacement.

The cosmetic work in these images is top notch, and you've done a great job of capturing it.
