Cats Wheeelz - Monomad

It's been a number of years since I've worked with Cat. We used to work quite regularly when @bbphotography had his studio open in Lincoln... Although it was just bricks and mortar, I miss that place.. Luckily the vibe and the banter and community still lives on in our group shoots and meet ups.

These meet-ups now usually held at one of the gangs, Emry's studio in Grimsby.

A few months ago, Cat made a comeback in front of the glass after a while of being away from the modelling game... So the stars aligned and she joined one of our group shoots at Emry's.

Now, its plain to see that Cat uses a wheelchair to help her get around with her illness, and its a specially designed chair with funky wheels....

So much so, I thought we would use it in our quick little shoot as its now part of her life, so why not document it.

The sun was blazing and very harsh on the day, so using the ad600 to try and balance some of the light, running in and out of the middle of the road with the lights and Cat also wheeling in and out of the road left the shoot time a little shorted than I would have liked, but the shoot turned out ok in the end, and the chair manufacturer have also used the images as well, so thats good.

Hopefully we'll pick up with Cat again in the new year,...
