3D $HIVE/$HBD Coin Renders - Free Stock Images
I was disappointed by the lack of physical metal versions of #HIVE and #HBD physical #cryptocurrency coins to use as props in my stock photography. To partially close the gap, I have been working on a 3D model of a Hive #coin and staged it in various parts of a simple 3D scene.
I've posted more about the process in creating these images in the Sketchbook Community.
All of the following images are available under the Creative Commons-Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 licence for you to use; all you need to do is cite me as the source of the image. You can also set me as a partial beneficiary in your post.

Thanks I'm impressed by what 3D can do compared to where I started 20 years ago.
I tried learning 3D but it was much too complicated for my old brain. I'm very impressed with what you have created. I see you used blender to do a lot of the work. Now that is a complicated program, well, at least it is for me!
There was a lot of alt tabbing between YouTube videos, writing down keyboard shortcuts and reverting changes along the way. Fail, fix, repeat.

It's amazing how real 3D looks these days. You could create almost anything online now. It's already hard enough to know what to believe! 😅

Ray tracing is a game changer; new GPUs with more ray tracing cores get us closer and closer to 60 frames per second of real-time raytracing. You already see it in many AAA games. However, they have to employ lots of tricks and optimisation to make it performant. Won't be long though; another decade and the "metaverse" is going to look like IRL.
