Oh, me has recordado las ocasiones en que he podido avistar algunas de ellas. He visto al tocororo, a la cartacuba, al sabanero, al carpintero verde, y al zunzún. Ojalá pueda avistar a la paloma perdiz algún día (es mi favorita, junto al catey), y es también endémica.

Oh, you've reminded me of the times I've been able to spot some of them. I've seen the tocororo, the cartacuba, the sabanero, the green woodpecker, and the zunzún. I hope I can spot the perdiz dove someday (it's my favorite, along with the catey), and it's also endemic.

Sí, gracias, y hay otra endémica de color violeta, llamada camao. Pero tendría que ir a la Ciénaga de Zapata para poder verlas, porque en mi zona solo abundan... las tórtolas 😆. Este es mi otro favorito:

Yes, thank you, and there's another endemic one in violet, called camao. But I would have to go to the Ciénaga de Zapata to see them, because in my area there are only... turtledoves 😆. This is my other favorite:
