Azores- Island of São Miguel-Portugal

This was without a doubt the most beautiful trip I've taken so far.
I went with my family to visit São Miguel Island in Azores-Portugal.
Really only those who pass and visit the island can appreciate all its natural beauty.
I was simply fascinated and in this post I share with you some photos I took on the island that highlight some wonderful points of its beauty.
This was also my kids' first time on a plane and this trip was a joy for them.

One of my visits to the island and without a doubt one of the most beautiful is the Lagoa das Sete Cidades.
It is difficult for words to describe its beauty so here I leave in the next photos a panorama of this beautiful place.

Another of the very beautiful places is Ribeira dos Caldeirões, full of vegetation and flowers that make this place a natural wonder, and there are also waterfalls that make this place even more beautiful, it is beautiful to walk in this place full of natural beauties and breathe fresh air .

Another place of choice is Furnas with its lagoon, which is a natural beauty in this place, as it is a place where the famous stew of the furnas is made, which is made underground.

One of the beautiful places to visit is in the northeast part of this island with its lighthouse next to the ocean, which was the first lighthouse to be built on this island.
This place is quite steep in its access but those who visit it are amazed at its location and beauty.

One of the main visits on this island is the area of Furnas, where there is a lot of curiosity to observe a typical food called Cozido das Furnas, which is placed underground and covered, and the stew takes about three hours to cook and then it is removed and served in restaurants in the region.
This is due to the fact that the floor is quite hot in this place, which makes the stew consisting of meat and cabbage, potato and carrot, among other ingredients, cook.
It's a very good food and anyone who goes to this island is almost a must to see and taste.

In the end, the Furnas stew on this island looks wonderful.
