Greetings dear friends of the black and white community, I hope everyone is very well.

This unplanned outing, just as night was falling, led me to wander through the streets of Vedado in Havana, a place where you never know what to expect around each corner. The city, still awake, continues its bustling rhythm, now wrapped in dim light that transforms every scene into a fascinating spectacle.

Men and women cross paths in their comings and goings: some returning from work, others just beginning their shifts. Amid this blend of faces and destinations, light and shadow intertwine, creating a unique visual symphony. Each silhouette outlined against the darkness adds to the magic of Havana’s night.

The images I captured are darker than I usually prefer, yet they still captivate me. The lack of light gives them a sense of mystery, a different rhythm that I hope conveys the essence of this moment.

Esta salida sin planificar, justo al caer la noche, me llevó a recorrer las calles del Vedado habanero, un lugar donde nunca se sabe qué esperar en cada esquina. La ciudad, todavía despierta, sigue su agitada dinámica, pero ahora envuelta en una luz tenue que transforma cada escena en un espectáculo fascinante.

Hombres y mujeres se cruzan en su ir y venir: algunos regresan del trabajo, otros apenas comienzan su jornada. En medio de esta mezcla de rostros y destinos, las luces y sombras se entrelazan, creando una sinfonía visual única. Cada silueta recortada contra la penumbra aporta a la magia de la noche habanera.
