Greetings hivers.

Havana is tired, but it endures.

There are days when the city seems to drag itself forward with the little strength it has left. The buildings crack, the streets grow darker, public transport disappears for hours and daily life becomes an exercise in patience. Yet people continue walking, talking on corners, improvising solutions and finding small reasons to smile. In the middle of shortages and uncertainty, life in Havana never completely stops.

What moves me most is not the decay itself, but the way people inhabit it with dignity. Elderly neighbors sitting outside to catch fresh air during blackouts, children turning any empty space into a playground, workers waking before sunrise to face another difficult day. Havana survives through its people, through that stubborn resilience that refuses to surrender even when exhaustion can be seen everywhere.

La Habana está cansada, pero resiste.

Hay días en que la ciudad parece arrastrarse con las pocas fuerzas que le quedan. Los edificios se agrietan, las calles se oscurecen, el transporte desaparece por horas y la vida cotidiana se convierte en un ejercicio de paciencia. Aun así la gente sigue caminando, conversando en las esquinas, improvisando soluciones y encontrando pequeños motivos para sonreír. En medio de la escasez y la incertidumbre, la vida en La Habana nunca termina de detenerse.

Lo que más me conmueve no es el deterioro en sí, sino la manera en que las personas lo habitan con dignidad. Vecinos mayores sentados afuera buscando fresco durante los apagones, niños convirtiendo cualquier espacio vacío en un lugar para jugar, trabajadores levantándose antes del amanecer para enfrentar otro día difícil. La Habana sobrevive a través de su gente, de esa resiliencia obstinada que se niega a rendirse incluso cuando el cansancio se puede ver en todas partes.
