The rhythm of 23rd Street / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

Greetings hivers. ⚫️⚪️

Some streets don’t just hold the city, they pulse with it. That’s how I’ve always felt about Calle 23, a long, living corridor through the heart of El Vedado. Wide, open, and restless.

With my wide-angle lens, I walked that afternoon looking not for stories, but for space, space that breathes, space that speaks. I watched how the buildings leaned into the light, how the corners came alive with every passing almendrĂłn, how Havana doesn't shout in places like this... it just moves.

There’s a rhythm here: slow and steady, a little weary, a little proud.

People cross without hurrying. Old cars glide between shadows. Architecture from a hundred years ago still watches the present roll by.

These images don’t tell big stories. They’re quiet frames of a city in motion, open streets, fleeting light, silhouettes between buildings. It’s not about what happens, but about how it feels to stand there, camera in hand, watching Havana breathe.

Saludos Hivers ⚪️⚫️
