The Queen of the House / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

Greetings Hivers 😸

Today I want to tell you about the queen of the house. Michi 😼 a little cat that has completely stolen all our hearts.

Before continuing, I want to tell you that in my house there have always been pets. Cats and dogs. However, even though we cared about them very much, they also had a role in the family. The dogs were for the security of the house and the cats helped keep rodents and other little creatures away. None of them were allowed inside the bedrooms or to sleep inside the house.

All the animals have always gotten along wonderfully. To the point that Kymi, Michi’s mother, has slept with the dogs in the yard since she was very small. One day I will dedicate a post to them because their relationship is really unique. Both dogs protect the cats and the cats seem to trust them completely. It is something curious and very beautiful to see.

Michi was born in a litter of five kittens from Kymi. Out of all of them we kept her. In reality it was a request from my wife, who was recovering from a serious illness and had never had a pet before. So, wanting to make her happy, we adopted Michi as one more member of the family.

This time things were different. Michi was allowed to sleep in the room and even on the bed. That closeness made us grow incredibly fond of her. Now it feels completely natural to always have her around us, playing, exploring and doing her little mischief.

As a family joke we always say that, in her infinite mercy, she allows us to sleep in her bed, use her room and live in her house 😅😅

I must also say that she was a great help in my wife's recovery, which thankfully she overcame without any problems.

So today I dedicate this small post to this beautiful queen who has stolen everyone’s heart here.

I hope you like the photos. I will be happy to read your thoughts.

Saludos Hivers 😸
