The Joy of Simple Things / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.
Hello Hivers.
That day we were in a small rural town, one of those places where cameras are still unusual objects and where every visit seems to break the daily routine a little. While we were focused on a project that kept us serious and concentrated, a family happened to pass by. Among them was a young boy who noticed our cameras and approached us without the slightest hint of shyness.
His attention was not on us or on the equipment. What truly interested him were the dogs wandering around nearby. With the natural ease that only children possess, he began petting them, calling them over, and introducing them to us as if they were lifelong friends. Every time another dog appeared, his smile grew wider. Without even realizing it, he became the main subject of our photographs.
There is something special about the way children see the world. While adults are often busy with worries, plans, and responsibilities, they can find genuine happiness in something as simple as the company of a dog. Watching him enjoy that moment reminded us of exactly that, joy is often hidden in the simplest things.
For a while, we left the seriousness of our work behind and simply enjoyed the scene. His enthusiasm was contagious. We kept taking pictures while he continued exploring, playing, and sharing his time with every animal he met along the way.
Today I would like to share some of the photographs that came from that unexpected encounter. A brief and ordinary moment, perhaps, but one of those memories that stays with you far longer than you expect.

Saludos hivers.
