The Cameras of Red Pill / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

From the Red Pill project, which I have mentioned many times before, I have not only learned about film photography and analog processes. I have also watched a small collection of cameras and accessories gradually come together, all finding a second life thanks to Asbel's work.
It all began with the extraordinary skills of this self taught technician who, without exaggeration, comes very close to genius. For years, many of us brought him our cameras to repair, adjust, or simply bring back to life when we thought they were beyond saving. With patience and knowledge, he has managed to revive almost any film camera that comes into his hands.
Those of us who already knew his work spent a long time encouraging him to share his knowledge through workshops. The response has been so positive that the next courses are already fully booked.
The cameras you see in these photographs, some of them true gems, have been restored by him and are available for sale. The prices are very reasonable, even lower than what is commonly found on platforms like eBay. More important than that is the peace of mind of knowing that behind every camera there is someone capable of maintaining and repairing it whenever necessary.
Today I would like to share some images of the cameras they brought to a recent entrepreneurship fair. As I mentioned, among them are some truly special pieces that any film photography enthusiast would be happy to own.

Del proyecto PĂldora Roja, del que tanto les he hablado antes, no solo he aprendido fotografĂa quĂmica y procesos analĂłgicos. TambiĂ©n he visto cĂłmo, poco a poco, se ha formado un pequeño stock de cámaras y accesorios que hoy encuentran una segunda vida gracias al trabajo de Asbel.
Todo comenzĂł con las extraordinarias habilidades de este tĂ©cnico autodidacta que, sin exagerar, roza la genialidad. Durante años muchos de nosotros le llevamos nuestras cámaras para reparar, ajustar o simplemente devolverles la funcionalidad que creĂamos perdida. Con paciencia y conocimiento ha logrado revivir prácticamente cualquier equipo de carrete que llega a sus manos.
Quienes ya conocĂamos su trabajo insistimos durante mucho tiempo en que compartiera sus conocimientos mediante talleres. La respuesta ha sido tan buena que los prĂłximos cursos ya tienen todas sus plazas ocupadas.
Las cámaras que ven en estas fotografĂas, algunas de ellas verdaderas joyas, han sido reacondicionadas por Ă©l y están disponibles para la venta. Los precios son muy razonables, incluso por debajo de lo que suele verse en plataformas como eBay. Pero más importante que eso es la tranquilidad de saber que detrás de cada equipo hay alguien capaz de mantenerlo y repararlo cuando sea necesario.
Hoy quiero compartir algunas imágenes de las cámaras que llevaron a la reciente feria de emprendimientos. Como les decĂa, entre ellas hay piezas realmente especiales que cualquier amante de la fotografĂa analĂłgica disfrutarĂa tener en sus manos.
