From my balcony, the sky began to close like a heavy curtain. The clouds, dense and angry, were taking over the horizon, leaving only a blue crack where the afternoon breathed. The light, in its last attempt, timidly crept through the edges, announcing the imminence of the storm.

There is something hypnotic in that instant when the sky splits, when the world seems to be suspended between silence and roar. To photograph that moment is to try to catch the held breath of the day, just before the rain falls.

Desde mi balcón, el cielo comenzó a cerrarse como un telón pesado. Las nubes, densas y coléricas, se fueron apoderando del horizonte, dejando solo una grieta azul por donde respiraba la tarde. La luz, en su último intento, se colaba tímida por los bordes, anunciando la inminencia de la tormenta.

Hay algo hipnótico en ese instante en que el cielo se parte, en que el mundo parece suspenderse entre el silencio y el estruendo. Fotografiar ese momento es intentar atrapar el aliento contenido del día, justo antes de que caiga la lluvia.

Al final, incluyo versiones en blanco y negro: no son solo una conversión, sino otra manera de leer el cielo, más introspectiva, más desnuda, como quien busca el alma detrás de la forma.
