Many times we think that only the extraordinary is worth photographing, but the truth is that there is great beauty in the everyday. The way someone waits for the bus, a woman opening her window in the morning, or children walking to school—all these little gestures make up the essence of life. Photographing people’s routines is, in a way, preserving the poetry of what we usually overlook.

Muchas veces pensamos que solo lo extraordinario merece ser fotografiado, pero la verdad es que hay una gran belleza en lo cotidiano. La forma en que alguien espera el ómnibus, una mujer abriendo su ventana por la mañana, o los niños caminando hacia la escuela; todos esos pequeños gestos son la esencia de la vida. Fotografiar la rutina de las personas es, de alguna manera, conservar la poesía de lo que solemos pasar por alto.
