Street Photography - What I Discover After the Shot / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

Greetings, friends of the black and white community.

When I go out to take street photos, I don't dwell too much on the details of the shot; in fact, I don't even activate the image review. I feel that this would make me waste time and, perhaps, miss something important. I prefer to discover the result later, at home, quietly, with a coffee in hand. It is at that moment when I really see what came out and if the idea I had when I was shooting was captured in the image.

I'm surprised by the ability of human beings to adapt to every situation. Sometimes, when I review the photos, I wonder what the people I photographed were thinking. Did they notice my presence? How did they feel at that moment? Where are they coming from? Where are they going? These are unanswerable questions, but they are part of the mystery that makes street photography fascinating.

In the end, I choose and edit what struck me most. These are the results.

Cuando salgo a hacer fotos callejeras, no me detengo demasiado en los detalles del disparo; de hecho, ni siquiera activo la revisión de la imagen. Siento que eso me haría perder tiempo y, quizás, perderme algo importante. Prefiero descubrir el resultado después, en casa, tranquilo, con un café en mano. Es en ese momento cuando realmente veo qué salió y si la idea que tenía al disparar se plasmó en la imagen.

Me sorprende la capacidad del ser humano para adaptarse a cada situación. A veces, al revisar las fotos, me pregunto qué estarían pensando las personas que retraté. ¿Notaron mi presencia? ¿Cómo se sintieron en ese momento? ¿De dónde vienen? ¿A dónde van? Son preguntas sin respuesta, pero forman parte del misterio que hace fascinante la fotografía callejera.

Al final, elijo y edito lo que más me impactó. Estos son los resultados.
