Greetings hivers.
Havana scenes are so diverse that they seem to tell a story on every corner. You lose track of time walking its streets. Sometimes I find myself crossing entire districts and walking several kilometers without even realizing it. And these walks are deeply comforting. Only those who have experienced them know exactly what I mean. Photographing life in the street is wonderful. Buildings, people, animals. Each one has its own story to tell.
Today, with this small sample, I intend to share some of those moments I found without looking for them, simple instances that perhaps many would overlook, but that in their silence say so much. Fragments of life that exist only for a second and disappear, yet through photography find a way to remain.
Walking and photographing has become, for me, a way of connection, not only with the city, but also with myself. It is a way of observing, understanding, and feeling the true rhythm of life beyond noise and haste.

Las escenas habaneras son tan diversas que parecen que cuentan una historia en cada esquina. Pierdes la noción del tiempo caminando las calles. A veces me encuentro atravesando municipios y dando recorridos de varios kilómetros sin darme cuenta. Y es que son muy reconfortantes estos paseos. Solo el que los ha dado sabe a qué me refiero. Fotografiar la vida en la calle es genial. Los edificios, las personas, los animales. Cada uno tiene su propia historia que contar.
Hoy con esta pequeña muestra pretendo compartir algunos de esos instantes que encontré sin buscarlos, momentos simples que quizás para muchos pasen desapercibidos, pero que en su silencio dicen mucho. Fragmentos de vida que existen solo por un segundo y desaparecen, pero que a través de la fotografía encuentran una forma de permanecer.
Caminar y fotografiar se ha convertido para mí en una forma de conexión, no solo con la ciudad, sino también conmigo mismo. Es una manera de observar, de entender, de sentir el ritmo real de la vida más allá del ruido y la prisa.
