Greetings Hivers, how are you doing?

Today, while wandering through the streets of Old Havana, I bring you a series of photos that don’t necessarily connect with each other, except for the shared passion of capturing daily life in black and white. Each corner offers something unexpected, and I simply let myself be guided by what caught my attention.

Black and white photography allows me to strip away distractions and focus on the essence of the moment—the expressions, the textures, and the silent stories that unfold in every corner. These images are fragments of Havana’s rhythm, moments that might go unnoticed but that speak volumes when frozen in time.

I hope you enjoy this small series as much as I enjoyed creating it, and I’ll be looking forward to reading your impressions.

Saludos amigos hiver. ¿Qué tal están?

Hoy de paseo por las calles de La Habana Vieja les traigo una serie de fotos sin mucha conexión entre ellas, salvo la pasión por fotografiar en blanco y negro la vida cotidiana de nuestras calles. Cada esquina ofrece algo inesperado, y simplemente me dejé guiar por lo que llamaba mi atención.

La fotografía en blanco y negro me permite despojarme de distracciones y enfocarme en la esencia del momento: las expresiones, las texturas y esas historias silenciosas que se desarrollan en cada rincón. Estas imágenes son fragmentos del ritmo de La Habana, instantes que quizás pasarían inadvertidos, pero que al ser congelados en el tiempo dicen mucho más de lo que parece.

Espero que disfruten esta pequeña serie tanto como yo disfruté al crearla, y estaré atento a leer sus impresiones.
