Greetings #blackandwhite community.
Today we are going to visit one of the most emblematic places in Havana and Cuba.

I must admit that I don't usually walk much in the area of the Morro-Cabaña fortresses, or at least not as much as I would like to. There is quite a lot of control to cross the Havana tunnel, and there are almost always policemen "doing their job" 🙄 at the exit of the tunnel. It makes me a bit uncomfortable to have to be accountable, so I tend to avoid the places where they usually are.

But hey, the truth is that place is wonderful, full of history and with spectacular views. I promise I will go there more often and record with my lens everything I can, especially to show those who don't know Havana.

Today I was lucky enough to photograph a cruise ship entering the bay. It used to be a common sight, but since the U.S. embargo measures were tightened, you hardly ever see them. So as soon as I saw it in the distance, I looked for a good angle and waited to capture the entrance of that huge metal beast. They are imposing in themselves, but with the Havana background they look simply spectacular.

Hoy vamos a visitar uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de La Habana y de Cuba.

Debo reconocer que no suelo pasear mucho por la zona de las fortalezas Morro-Cabaña, o al menos no tanto como quisiera. Hay bastante control para cruzar el túnel de La Habana, y casi siempre hay policías “haciendo su trabajo” 🙄 a la salida del túnel. Me incomoda un poco tener que estar rindiendo cuentas, así que tiendo a evitar los lugares donde suelen estar.

Pero bueno, lo cierto es que ese sitio es maravilloso, lleno de historia y con unas vistas espectaculares. Les prometo que iré más seguido y registraré con mi lente todo lo que pueda, especialmente para mostrarles a quienes no conocen La Habana.

Hoy tuve la suerte de fotografiar un crucero entrando a la bahía. Antes era algo común, pero desde que se endurecieron las medidas del embargo estadounidense, casi no se ven. Así que en cuanto lo vi a lo lejos, busqué un buen ángulo y me puse a esperar para poder capturar la entrada de esa enorme bestia de metal. De por sí son imponentes, pero con el fondo de La Habana se ven simplemente espectaculares.
