Greetings, friends. I hope you are well today and having a nice family day.
It is always comforting to return to the origins, to the house where so many beautiful family memories dwell. Thank God, my mother is still waiting for me there, with her delicious food, that special and unique seasoning in the world that I would like to continue savoring for many, many years to come.
Today I also take the opportunity to test a new lens: an old Soviet jewel, the Helios 44-2, known for its dramatic look. I'll do more testing later and tell you all about the whole restoration process.
In the meantime, I am about to enjoy a beautiful day together with my dear mother, and I hope you are also close to yours, even if it is in the heart.

Siempre es reconfortante regresar a los orígenes, a la casa donde habitan tantos bellos recuerdos familiares. Gracias a Dios, todavía me espera allí mi madre, con su comida deliciosa, ese sazón especial y único en el mundo que quisiera seguir saboreando por muchos, muchos años más.
