A few days ago, while wandering through Old Havana, I came across a very curious place called El Ojo del Ciclón. Without a doubt, it’s a spot you should visit if you love art. Later I found out it’s actually an art gallery, but the reality inside shifts, it becomes strange, surreal, and a little bizarre.

They welcome you with a smile, and you’re free to take as many photos as you like. Still, I must admit I didn’t take enough, because the urge I felt was simply to enjoy the place directly, not through the viewfinder.

Afterwards, I continued my usual route, but the experience stayed floating in my mind.

Hace unos días, caminando por La Habana Vieja, encontré un lugar muy curioso llamado El Ojo del Ciclón. Sin duda, es un sitio que debes visitar si te gusta el arte. Investigando después, descubrí que es una galería, pero la realidad ahí adentro cambia por completo: se vuelve extraña, surrealista y un poco bizarra.

Te reciben con una sonrisa y puedes hacer todas las fotos que quieras. Aun así, confieso que no hice tantas como hubiera querido, porque el impulso que sentí fue disfrutar del lugar con mis propios ojos, sin el filtro del visor.

Luego seguí mi recorrido habitual, pero esa experiencia quedó flotando en la mente.
