As a photographer, I often come across scenes that seem to ask for more than a simple photograph. People whose stories I will never truly know, yet they spark my curiosity and invite me to imagine who they are and how they live.
Today, Cuba celebrates Father's Day, and I would like to share a few images that speak to me about fathers, grandfathers, and the bonds that connect generations. They are fragments of lives captured in passing, moments of strangers who, even without context, seem to tell a story of their own.
Many times I prefer to invent those stories. I look at a photograph and let my imagination travel to a place where everything fits together, where problems find solutions, and where life is a little kinder. Reality can be harsh at times, and perhaps that is why photography also becomes a way of dreaming.
I hope you enjoy the photos and that the stories you imagine while looking at them tell you something as well.

Como fotógrafo, a veces me encuentro con escenas que parecen pedir algo más que una simple fotografía. Personas cuyas historias nunca conoceré, pero que despiertan mi curiosidad y me invitan a imaginar quiénes son y cómo viven.
Hoy, en Cuba, celebramos el Día de los Padres, y quisiera compartir algunas imágenes que me hablan de padres, de abuelos y de esos vínculos que atraviesan generaciones. Son fragmentos de vidas capturados al pasar, instantes de personas desconocidas que, aun sin contexto, parecen contar algo por sí solos.
Muchas veces prefiero inventarme sus historias. Mirar una fotografía y viajar con la imaginación hacia un lugar donde todo encaja, donde los problemas encuentran solución y donde la vida es un poco más amable. No siempre es fácil convivir con la realidad que nos rodea, y quizás por eso la fotografía también se convierte en una forma de soñar.
Espero que les gusten las fotos y que, de alguna manera, las historias que imaginen al verlas les cuenten algo también.
