Back to the Streets / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]

The photos 📸 are my entry to the #monomad contest from @monochromes and @brumest.

Greetings, Hivers.

A few days ago I returned to the streets after several weeks, or perhaps even months, of staying away from street photography. As I adapt to this new normal, I think part of it will be getting back out there and photographing everything that moves, or even those things that remain still but catch my eye.

This time I went out with a group of friends, all lovers of street photography, portraits, and everything that can be found behind a camera. We walked through Centro Habana and Old Havana, simply walking, talking and, of course, taking photographs.

The streets felt a little sadder than I remembered them from a few months ago. Maybe it is just my perception, maybe it is the moment we are living through. But it is still my street.

So I'll be there, camera in hand, photographing everything I can.

I hope you enjoy this small series from today.

Saludos, Hivers.

I see you use 50mm f1.4D - an oldie. I love my 24mm f/2.8D - made in Japan, with a rubber focus ring. 🙂 This 24mm is my favorite currently.

incredible, I am very fond of old Nikon optics. I have several manual focus ais and pre-ais. series D I have an 85mm 1.4, a 60 2.8 macro and also a 24 2.8 is one of my favorites. that 50mm that comes out in the reflection that same day I gave it to a friend. he was with me for 15 years or more. hugs colleague.

I see you have a great collection of lenses. I haven't bought lenses for ages, really tempting to get something new (a charming oldie with a manual focus would fit too), alas, crypto didn't help to do so... Cheers!

The residents are open to all photographers in the place without asking why we did take them pictures. Here in our Country, they are very sensitive and get mad when we take them a picture. 😆

That is why Cuba is such an attractive place for foreign photographers. They are always welcome 🤗
