Some time ago, while walking through Old Havana with a good friend, we witnessed something extraordinary. An elderly man who could barely walk with the help of his cane was carrying a pot of food for the stray cats. It was truly inspiring to see that there are people who dedicate the little resources they have to feeding abandoned animals. Moments like that restore your faith in humanity.
The cats clearly loved that man. The affection they showed him was simply beautiful. Having an angel who brings them food must feel like a blessing for them.
We stayed there for a while just watching the scene unfold. The cats gathered around him calmly, as if they already knew that every day he would return with something to share. There was a quiet tenderness in the moment, something simple but deeply moving. Sometimes the most powerful gestures are also the humblest.

Hace un tiempo, paseando por la Habana Vieja con un buen amigo, vimos algo extraordinario. Un señor mayor que apenas podÃa caminar con su bastón venÃa cargando un caldero de comida para los gatitos callejeros. Fue algo realmente inspirador ver cómo existen personas que dedican los pocos recursos que tienen para alimentar a los animales abandonados. Momentos asà devuelven la fe en la humanidad.
Los gatos amaban a ese señor. Las muestras de cariño que le daban eran sencillamente bellas. Tener un ángel que pueda alimentarlos imagino que es una bendición para ellos.
Nos quedamos un rato observando aquella escena con calma. Los gatos se reunÃan a su alrededor como si ya supieran que cada dÃa él regresarÃa con algo para compartir. HabÃa una ternura silenciosa en aquel momento, algo simple pero profundamente conmovedor. A veces los gestos más poderosos también son los más humildes.
La serie de hoy va de amor, de humanidad y altruismo. Espero que les guste.
