Greetings, Hivers.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a mother proud of her son. Well, actually there is: seeing a grandmother sharing that same pride.

When Miguel graduated from the photography workshop, it seemed as if he had discovered something extraordinary, something essential for his life. Photography often has that effect on people.

In these images, he is showing his mother and grandmother the camera he used to take the photographs that were displayed on the wall that day.

Their expressions are priceless. They are pure poetry. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed capturing them. Photography never ceases to surprise me.

No hay nada más gratificante que ver a una madre orgullosa de su hijo. Bueno, en realidad sí lo hay: ver también a una abuela compartiendo ese mismo orgullo.

Cuando Miguel se graduó del taller de fotografía, parecía haber descubierto algo extraordinario, algo esencial para su vida. La fotografía suele tener ese efecto en las personas.

En estas imágenes le muestra a su mamá y a su abuelita la cámara con la que tomó las fotografías que ese día estaban expuestas en una pared.

Sus expresiones no tienen precio. Son poesía pura. Espero que las disfruten tanto como yo disfruté capturándolas. La fotografía no deja de sorprenderme.
