Havana's Malecón never disappoints. You only need to take a walk and your memory card is already full. From a motorcycle race that looks straight out of an action movie to a shy little dog by the water receiving some help to get wet. Everything is so diverse that after walking just a few blocks you have already captured several different stories, each one better than the last.

That is why I always come back with my camera. You never know what scene is waiting around the next corner or which ordinary moment will end up becoming a special photograph. The Malecón has the unique ability to bring together the energy, emotions, and spontaneity of the city in a single place, offering images that tell on their own how life unfolds by the sea.

El malecón habanero no decepciona nunca. Solo te das una vuelta y llenas la tarjeta de memoria. Desde una carrera de motos, sacada de una película de acción, hasta un perrito tímido junto al agua recibiendo ayuda para mojarse. Todo es tan diverso que solo caminas unas cuadras y ya tienes registradas varias historias diferentes, cada una mejor que la otra.

Por eso siempre regreso con la cámara. Nunca sabes qué escena te espera en la siguiente esquina ni qué pequeño momento cotidiano terminará convirtiéndose en una fotografía especial. El malecón tiene esa capacidad de reunir en un mismo espacio la energía, las emociones y la espontaneidad de la ciudad, regalando imágenes que cuentan por sí solas cómo transcurre la vida junto al mar.
