It would be wrong to say only beauty, I have seen the horror of the river with my own eyes. I saw in the news yesterday that the breach of Padma in Faridpur region has taken a very terrible form. Happiness and sadness wash our lives together. That's why Ravi Tagore said that the sun smiles behind the clouds. However, for those whose soil and arable crops are disappearing into the river, may the Creator keep them patient. In fact, the shape of the river is such that it breaks and builds up again. Our Kushtia region was once very broken but now it is not so relaxed. Various tourist centers have been developed along the river to go around by boat. There are various types of food shops.

The people who used to cry with their hands on their heads on the banks of the river after their homes and crops were washed away in the river. The fate of that man has now changed in a different way. Fishing through nets and boats is changing fortunes. Again by making tourist centers on the banks of the river, they are making a living through various types of business. Thousands of people gather here in the afternoon. Boat ride on the river. Along with this, there is also a favorite arrangement of sitting on the banks of the river and sipping a cup of tea while listening to the sound of the river and the wind.

It is very nice to spend the afternoon sitting on the banks of the river with the greatness of the river, the sound of the waves and the gentle breeze. When I get home, if there is no one around, I try to spend the afternoon sitting by the river even if I am alone. The beauty of the river bank is the green grass crop land. Sitting on the grass eating almonds and sipping a cup of tea with a cup of tea is a different kind of fun. Such feelings, such magical sweet time may not be spent anywhere else. Best of all is when the western sky is lit up with a crimson glow as if the sun is about to set. When you look at the water in the sky, it seems that the water is also red. It seems that there is another sky under the water where there is fire.

The color of the sky changes frequently during monsoons. If you want to see the transformation in the blink of an eye, you have to walk around the empty desert. All the photographs that I have presented with you today are centered on the sky. The vast sky above is swaying in the waters of the Padma. It will seem as if there is another world under the river. If you hold the camera at a slight angle, it will seem as if another sky is rising from the water. A raft of white clouds floating in the blue sky, sometimes bright sunshine and sometimes cloudy. Everything is reflected in the water of the river. If you look further away, you will see the boat going away with a song in Bhatiali tune. Again you can see the Badam Sala boat floating from far away. Jira is what we call a sailing boat. In fact, when you go to the bank of the river, you will be amazed by its beauty again and again. Nature has been arranged by the creator to be enjoyable for us, the beauty of which is constantly mesmerizing.

Along the banks of the river there are food stalls as well as the traffic of people. In the afternoon, the shopkeepers prepare their groceries and food items for the tourists. Especially the fried food Jhalmuri Phuchka Chatpati is notable. I have shown you the picture of Fuchka in the above photography. I also like to eat fuchka, but only occasionally.
