A sudden feeling of traveling by train.
I like to travel more be it train or bus or motorcycle. He always goes around with a motorcycle, sometimes he has to go around in other vehicles. As usual, I went to the market before evening to chat. Suddenly my brother said let's take a train and come back from Kushtia. At first, my husband said no, but I saw that I also did not get on the train for a long time, and the motorcycle was taken here and there, but the train journey was no longer the same. So later I also agreed.
Especially when I studied in Kushtia Polytechnic, I used to come home every week off. At that time we used the train as the main means of transportation. So after a long time when the opportunity came to travel by train, I couldn't do it. We went to the station with the bike, there is a garage for bikes. Leaving the bike, we went to the train platform and still the train did not come. We thought we would go by shuttle train but when we got to the station we saw that the Nakshi Kantha mail express had not arrived yet it was quite late. I went to the station and met my friend Ankan, but I knew that he would also go to Kushtia. It was nice to meet him at the station. I remember the moments of waiting for the train at the station five years ago. We all used to wait for the train in this way and when the train came, we would board the train and go to Kushtia. It was a very sweet time and I still remember it well. The train arrived within 5 minutes of our departure.
After the train stopped, I first thought to get inside the train compartment. Since we are standing at the back, the train has moved forward a lot. There is another train engine in front of us which is behind it may have been working while leaving now it is stopped. Trains have been traveled before but not standing next to the engine like this in the open. So I thought today we will go up here will be a new experience. But now that it is winter time and it is night, it will be very windy to go here. Our first plan was to stop here from Khoksa to Kumarkhali.
Then we went down to Kumarkhali and wanted to go inside. But the brother who was with us said that the Bible went inside the room. However, there was one person there and we entered after talking to him. It was very good to enter here because I got to see everything how the train is run and controlled. We will get down at Kushtia Barabazar station. It took about 40 minutes to reach us from Khoksa. Then we got down at Kushtia Bara station. Now we plan to try some street food and some popular food in Kushtia. It has been a long time since Kushtia city has been visited on foot. It comes to Barabazar railway gate as we walk in this direction from the station. There is a very famous puri shop in Bara Bazar. Everyone knows the name of the puri or the name of the shop as Kashem Puri. Never had it before so came to try it today.
A small shop in an alley in Kushtia Big Bazaar is quite crowded since evening. There was no garam puri then, we asked them to fry us. I kept waiting for 10 minutes and there were some other food like kachuri, onion. Then Garam Garam Puri was served in front of us and we played it with great satisfaction. It was a good test.
We now plan to walk along NS Road to Thana Junction and roam around a bit. Walking on NS Road in Kushtia is a great way to enter various showrooms. Whether you buy something or not, it is very good to enter the showroom and see the price of clothes. We wandered around for a long time and we had to turn back and head for the station. Another food is yet to be tested which I used to eat a lot when I was a wrestler.
Now it's our turn for food to smell Vadal Bara and Tikia. This dish was eaten only when one went out to stay in Kushtia. We finished eating it and walked towards the station. There is an egg shop near the station. We bought quail eggs as our train was still late to pass the time. We ate several eggs and then sat down at the station. Such impromptu trips are quite fun.
